What To Stockpile For Patch 4.2

Stockpile like a Pro for 4.2 and make THOUSANDS
NEWSFLASH: Most players fail miserably when it comes to making gold in World of Warcraft. If you want to know how to make killer amounts of gold in WoW that will skyrocket your gold balance, you need to read this:

Here’s another question I get asked quite alot about making gold:

***QUESTION***

Max:

Holy smokes……… my gold has gone from 1,124g to 61,593g since joining Warcraft Conquest and the amount I’m earning is increasing by the day, thanks a million for the great tips you have given us to use on making gold. Max you are a savior for the little people out there which find gold very difficult to come by, I especially like the strategy on monopolizing the market (can you believe that I’m now creating my own monopoly too?). I hear that on each major patch you can make a killing in terms of gold, do you have any inside information what I should be stockpiling?

Great work on getting so much gold! You’re well on the way to utilizing some of our more advanced strategies! Patch 4.2 is probably going to be coming in around a month or so, so it’s a great time to start stockpiling. Make sure however, that you don’t go overboard… As with every patch that is released, blizzard releases a great deal of patch notes to accompany their new additions to the game. On any major content patch you can be sure that there will be list of craftable epics which will be released and this is usually what I look out for when I’m choosing to stockpile. You can’t always be 100% accurate, and there will definitely be others stock piling so just make sure you don’t go overboard and buy too much of one material. Remember, the key to stockpiling is always to buy them cheap when they are low in demand and to sell them higher (much higher after patches released) to earn a killing.

Here’s what I recommend for patch 4.2:

Dreamcloth: This is tailor specific, but if you havent been making as many dreamclothes as you can on each cooldown then you should be doing so. I am 99% certain that the new raid epics will be using dreamcloth to craft so you could stand to make a real killing on crafting these epics once you get the recipes. Also if the price of these epics dont sell well you can still make illusionary bags which are selling for up to 5000g depending on the server.

Volatiles: Volatiles are gonna be heavily used on each new content patch released in cataclysm, its pretty obvious since nearly every recipe uses volatiles in some shape or form, now is a great time to start stockpiling them while current epics are cheap and there are tons of cheap volatiles lying around. Go ahead and buy a few hundred of each if you can afford to, it will definitely be money well spent.

Book of Glyph Mastery: This is a funny one, if you can get them cheap (less than 100g) selling these books could prove to be a great earner after the patch. With the release of new glyphs inscriptionists will be scrambling to purchase these books in order to be the first to learn the new ones. Don’t buy too many however, books are usually high in supply and there’s always some lying around somewhere…

Ore: It’s pretty obvious that ore/bars are going to be used once the patch is released, get your elementium ore now while its cheap (on my server going as low as 10g a stack) then flip them on patch week (or week after) for probably around 100g a stack. If you have the gold, stocking up on truegold will also be a very safe investment.

That’s what I’ve decided to stockpile for patch 4.2, as always if you want some in-depth strategies on how to utilize and stockpile correctly, don’t forget to check out the members area here:
